Harvard - UTEC Research Seed Fund

Harvard-UTEC Faculty Grants Program

The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) and the Universidad de Ingenieria y Tecnología (UTEC, Peru) announce the annual Harvard-UTEC Faculty Grants Program. Two to three grants of $45,000 in direct cost funds will be awarded for early-stage collaborations.

Funding for one postdoc resident in Peru is also available for mature projects. (Mature projects can include new collaborations where the proposed collaborative research is at an advanced stage warranting a postdoc, and do not necessarily require demonstration of previous collaborations.)

The Harvard applicant must be someone with PI rights (ladder faculty, professor of the practice or senior lecturer) employed full-time by Harvard University. The proposal should be prepared in collaboration with a full-time faculty member from UTEC.

Proposals are due Friday December 20, 2019.  Funds will be awarded by February 2020.
